Graphic designer Matt Leger, whom some of you know, will be creating the cover for Files that Last. It should be ready in time to show to people at Boskone and Personal Digital Archiving 2013.

The Kickstarter drive is now at $1052. That means it will have to average $158 a day from here on to succeed. I’ve done all the cheerleading for myself that I can manage. From here on I’ll let it happen or not, and there may nor may not be daily updates, though I promise a final report. Putting on a public face for this campaign has been an interesting experience, often a stressful one, but it’s gotten me to stretch my boundaries and certainly has helped to make the book a reality and stir up interest in it.

The main thing from here on is the book.
